【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversdeformedandplainsteelreinforcingbarsincutlengths,withaheadattachedtooneorbothends,forconcretereinforcement.Attachmentcanbeaccomplishedthroughwelding,byintegrallyhotforgingofaheadfromthereinforcingbarend,byinternalthreadsintheheadmatingtothreadsonthebarend,orbyaseparatethreadednuttosecuretheheadtothebar.Headsareforgeformed,machinedfrombarstock,orcutfromplate.Note18212;Thisspecificationisapplicableforheadedbarsproducedwithwelded,threaded,orforgedheadsandusedforreinforcementofconcretestructures.Therequirementsofthisspecificationarenotapplicabletoheadedbarswheretheattachmentoftheheadisaccomplishedbyalternatemeans.1.2Limitationsonheaddimensionsandonobstructionsandinterruptionsofbardeformationsonthenon-planarfeaturesonthebearingfaceoftheheadarepresentedinAnnexA1.TherequirementsinAnnexA1onlyapplywhenspecifiedbythepurchaser(see4.1.13).1.3ThisspecificationisapplicableforordersineitherSIunitsasSpecificationA970Morinch-poundunitsshowninthetextinbrackets[SpecificationA970].1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
