【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesaprocedureforthedeterminationofthemeasurementoftheabilityofturbine,gearandhydraulicoilstoseparateentrainedair.Itisapplicabletobothmineralandsyntheticbasedproducts,butthecurrentprecisionstatementonlyappliestomineraloils.NOTE1-Agitationoflubricatingandhydraulicoilswithairinequipmentsuchasbearings,couplings,gears,pumpsandlines,canproduceadispersionoffinelydividedairbubblesintheoil.Iftheresidencetimeinthereservoiristooshorttoallowtheairbubblestorisetothesurface,amixtureofairandoilwillcirculatethroughthesystem.Thismayresultinaninabilitytomaintainoilpressure(particularlywithcentrifugalpumps),incompleteoilfilmsinbearingsandgears,andpoorhydraulicsystemperformanceorfailure.NOTE2-Thisstandardmeasuresthetimefortheentrainedaircontenttofalltotherelativelylowvalueof0,20%[V/V]underastandardizedsetoftestconditions,andhencepermitsthecomparisonoftheabilityofoilstoseparateentrainedairunderconditionswhereaseparationtimeisavailable.Althoughthesignificanceofthetestresultsisnotfullyestablished,entrainedaircancausesponginessandlackofsensitivityinthecontrolofturbineandhydraulicsystems.Thisstandardmaynotbesuitableforrankingoilsinapplicationswhereresidencetimesareshortandgascontentsarehigh.
