【摘要】:Themeasurementofparticulatematteriswidelyperformedtocharacterizeemissionsfromstationarysourcesintermsoftotalemissionratestotheatmosphereforregulatorypurposes.Thistestmethodisparticularlywellsuitedforuseinperformanceassessmentandoptimizationofparticulatemattercontrolsystems,continuousparticulatematteremissionsmonitoringsystemsandthemeasurementoflowconcentrationparticulatematterladengasstreamsintherangeof0.2mg/m3to50mg/m3.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheproceduresfordeterminingthemassconcentrationofparticulatematteringaseousstreamsusinganautomated,in-stacktestmethod.Thismethod,anin-situ,inertialmicrobalance,isbasedoninertialmassmeasurementusingahollowtubeoscillator.Thismethodisdescribesthedesignoftheapparatus,operatingprocedure,andthequalitycontrolproceduresrequiredtoobtainthelevelsofprecisionandaccuracystated.1.2Thismethodissuitableforcollectingandmeasuringfilterableparticulatematterconcentrationsintheranges0.2mg/m3andabovetakenineffluentductsandstacks.1.3Thistestmethodmaybeusedforcalibrationofautomatedmonitoringsystems(AMS).Iftheemissiongascontainsunstable,reactive,orsemi-volatilesubstances,themeasurementwilldependonthefiltrationtemperature,andthismethod(andotherin-stackmethods)maybemoreapplicablethanout-stackmethodsforthecalibrationofautomatedmonitoringsystems.1.4Thistestmethodcanbeemployedinsourceshavinggastemperatureupto200Candhavinggasvelocitiesfrom3to27m/s.1.5Thistestmethodincludesadescriptionofequipmentandmethodstobeusedforobtainingandanalyzingsamplesandadescriptionoftheprocedureusedforcalculatingtheresults.1.6Stacktemperatureslimitationforthistestmethodisapproximately200C(392F).1.7Thistestmethodmaybealsobelimitedfromuseinsamplinggasstreamsthatcontainfluoride,orotherreactivespecieshavingthepotentialtoreactwithorwithinthesampletrain.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
