【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardappliesforplant(containingmachineryandequipment)usedintheprocessofcontinuouscastingofliquidsteel(hereafterreferredtoascontinuouscastingmachine,CCM)asdefinedin3.1andillustratedinAnnexB.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttomachineryandequipmentforthecontinuouscastingofsteel,whentheyareusedasintendedandunderconditionsofmisusewhicharereasonablyforeseeablebythemanufacturer(seeClause4).ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementstobemetduringdesign,assembly,transport,commissioning,operation,maintenance(asdescribedinClause5)anddecommissioningoftheequipment.ThisEuropeanStandardassumesthatthemachineryandequipmentoftheplantisoperatedandmaintainedbyadequatelytrainedandcompetentpersonnel(see7.4).Manualinterventionforsetting,adjustmentandmaintenanceisacceptedaspartoftheintendeduseoftheplant.ThisEuropeanStandardassumesthatthemachineryisusedwithadequateworkplacelightingconformingtoEN12464-1.NOTELocalregulationsregardinglightingshouldbeconsideredandcoulddifferfromrequirementsofEN12464-1.ThisEuropeanStandardappliesto:CCMforthetransformationofmoltenliquidsteelintosolidproductsinsections(e.g.square,rectangular,beamblank,circular)?fromthepointwhereoverheadcranesorothertransportsystemsdepositladles(e.g.inaladleturretorladlecar);?viacastingprocess;?viacuttingequipment;?totherun-out-areawherethecutproductiscollected.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoversafetyrequirementsfor:?auxiliaryplants(e.g.watertreatment,refractoryhandling);?ladles;?cranes;?winchesandhoists;?conveyorsorhandlingsystems.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletoCCM,manufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisstandardbyCEN.
