【摘要】:ISO1998givesalistofequivalentEnglishandFrenchtermsinuseinthepetroleumindustry,accompaniedbythecorrespondingdefinitionsinthetwolanguages.Itwascompiledtoserveanevidentneedforareadyformofreferencedocument.Itthereforedoesnotincludeallthepossibleterms,thosetermsofwhichsignificanceisunambiguousbeingexcluded.ISO1998isintendedtocoverthepurposesofthepartofpetroleumindustrydealingwithcrudeoilsandpetroleumproducts,thatmeansallrelatedoperationsarisingfromtheproductionfieldtothefinaluser.Itisnotintendedtocovereitherpetroleumequipment,oranyoperationinthefield.However,somepiecesofequipmentorsomeoperationsofexplorationandproductionaredefined.Thecorrespondingtermswereintroducedonlywhentheyappearinadefinitionofaproductorprocessandwhentheirdefinitionwasfoundnecessaryforunderstandingorforavoidinganyambiguity.Whereaterminologyofpetroleumequipmentisneeded,itcorrespondstothescopeofISO/TC67,Materials,equipmentandoffshorestructuresforpetroleumandnaturalgasindustries.Thedefinitionsareproposedforuseinnationalandinternationalstandarddocuments.However,theyarenotintendedaslegaldefinitions.ThispartofIS01998explainstheclassificationsystemofcategoriesandthenumberingsystemofterms.Itgivesageneralindex.
